Who we are
Docka is a trade name of Zenosyne Tech LLC, a California limited liability company at 2108 N St #11798, Sacramento, CA 95816, USA. Zenosyne Tech LLC decides how the personal information described here is used: it is the controller. For anything about your information, write to eugene@docka.ai.
What we collect
When you visit our sites (docka.ai and its subdomains). Our web server logs each request: your IP address, your browser (user agent), the page, the page you came from and the time. We count visits with Umami, an analytics tool we run on our own server. It sets no cookies and does not store IP addresses. It records the page, the referring site, your browser, operating system, device type, language and an approximate location (country, region and city) worked out from the IP address. Our sites set no cookies and run no advertising trackers. Our pages load fonts from Google Fonts, so your browser also connects to Google, which receives your IP address.
When you ask for a report. The form asks for your name, company, work email, the job you want checked and, if you like, the models you use. With it we record your IP address, browser, the page you sent it from and the time, to keep out spam. We use these details only to reply to you and prepare your report.
When you book a call or write to us. Calls are booked through Calendly, which passes us the name, email and answers you enter there. When you write to us by email, on Slack or on LinkedIn, we keep your messages and contact details.
When we work together. We keep the names, work emails and roles of the people we work with, our messages, and what you give us for the work, such as documentation, test accounts and access to test systems. Our tests use test accounts and made-up data. We don't need personal information about your customers, and we don't ask for it.
Private report pages. Some reports sit behind a login we give you. On those pages our server records the login name, IP address and time of each visit, how long the page stayed open and which runs were opened. We use this to see whether the report was read and which parts were useful.
docka-check. If you verify with docka-check that you own an MCP server, we keep the email you give, the server's address and the reports your checks send us.
Calls. We may record and transcribe a call to keep accurate notes. We tell everyone on the call before we record.
Public business information. To find companies that may need our service, we look at public professional information, such as names, job titles and companies on LinkedIn and on company websites, and we may write to the people we find.
How we use it
- To reply to requests, prepare reports and do the work we agree with clients.
- To run our sites, keep them secure and see which pages people read.
- To contact people at companies that may need our service. Tell us to stop and we will.
- To send invoices and keep the records the law requires.
We don't sell personal information, we don't use it for advertising, and we don't use it to train AI models.
Legal bases in the EEA and the UK
If you are in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, we rely on:
- the contract with you or your company, or the steps before one;
- our legitimate interests in running and securing our sites, understanding how they are used, and contacting businesses about our service;
- your consent, where we ask for it; you can withdraw it at any time;
- legal obligations, such as keeping tax records.
Who else handles it
Service providers process personal information for us:
- Hetzner (Germany): the servers for our sites, analytics and test runs.
- Google (USA): email, calendar and documents (Google Workspace), and the fonts on our pages.
- AI model providers (USA), including Anthropic, OpenAI, Google, Microsoft and OpenRouter. Our tests send these models the jobs and the documentation they need. We also use AI assistants to draft, summarize and organize our own work, including messages and notes.
- Calendly (USA): booking calls.
- Slack and GitHub (USA): conversations and code we share with clients.
- Telegram: notices to us about new report requests and site activity.
We may also share personal information with our professional advisers, with authorities when the law requires it, and with a buyer if the business is sold.
Where it is processed
We are a US company. Our servers are in Germany, and several of our providers are in the USA. When personal information from the EEA, the UK or Switzerland goes to the USA, we rely on the safeguards our providers offer, such as the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework or standard contractual clauses.
How long we keep it
- Server logs: up to 12 months.
- Analytics: visit counts, kept while they are useful. They hold no IP addresses.
- Report requests, messages and business contacts: while we are in touch or may work together. We delete them sooner if you ask, unless the law requires us to keep them.
- Client work: for the term of the work, and afterwards as the agreement with the client says.
- Invoices and accounting records: as long as tax law requires.
Your rights
You can ask us for a copy of your personal information, and ask us to correct it, delete it, stop using it for a purpose, or send it to you in a portable format. You can tell us to stop contacting you at any time. Write to eugene@docka.ai. We reply within 30 days. If you are in the EEA or the UK, you can also complain to your data protection authority.
If you are a California resident: we don't sell or share personal information, as the California Consumer Privacy Act defines those terms, and you have the rights above.
Security
Our sites use encrypted connections (HTTPS). Access to personal information is limited to the people who need it, and we keep passwords and keys out of our code, logs and reports. If a breach affects your information, we will tell you without undue delay.
Children
Docka is a service for businesses. It is not meant for children under 16, and we don't knowingly collect their information.
Changes
When we change this policy, we change the date at the top of this page. If a change affects how we use your information, we say so here.
